01 / THE BRIEF

A consistent finish.
Throughout the home.

This Maida Hill interior refurbishment brought several areas of the home together through new flooring, coordinated joinery and fresh decoration. The scope combined the practical preparation beneath the floor with the visible details around the doors, walls and skirting.

Rather than treating each finish in isolation, the work covered the connections between them: how the flooring meets the skirting, how doors sit within their architraves, and how the wall panelling and painted finishes work across the interior.

02 / THE SCOPE

From floor preparation
to the final fittings.

  • Floor levelling in preparation for the new finish
  • Full laminate flooring installation
  • Installation of doors and architraves
  • Skirting installation
  • Painting throughout the property
  • Decorative wall panelling installation
  • Fixture and fitting installation

03 / THE APPROACH

Preparation first.
Detail carried through.

Floor levelling formed part of the preparation for the laminate flooring installation. The new floor finish was coordinated with the doors, architraves and skirting to bring the different areas together.

Painting throughout refreshed the interior, while the wall panelling added texture to the living room. The installation of fixtures and fittings completed the agreed scope, alongside the flooring and joinery details.

04 / THE OUTCOME

A cohesive interior.
Ready for everyday living.

The completed photographs show light timber-effect flooring, neutral painted walls and white joinery carried through the living room and hallway. Timber wall panelling gives the living room a distinct feature, while the continuous flooring and finishing details connect the adjoining spaces.

This project shows how flooring, carpentry and decoration can work together within an interior refurbishment in West London.

Questions you may be asking.

Practical answers for a similar interior refurbishment.

Can you combine flooring, doors and decorating in one project?

Yes. Tell us which rooms and finishes you want to update. We can discuss a coordinated scope for the flooring, joinery and decoration, with the agreed inclusions set out in your quotation.

Does my floor need levelling before laminate is installed?

That depends on the condition of the existing floor and the requirements of your chosen flooring. Floor levelling formed part of this Maida Hill project. We’ll assess the base in your property and explain the preparation needed before fitting.

Can you install wall panelling without refurbishing the whole property?

We can discuss wall panelling as a smaller project too. Send photographs of the wall, approximate dimensions and the style you have in mind so we can review the preparation, layout and finishing work.
